Before he a was a top executive at a major Chicago, IL civil engineering and consulting firm, Mr. Paul Matik worked as a controller at American National Credit Card Company, also based in the Windy City, where Mr. Paul Matik was in charge of the company’s investor relations, as well as its preparation and consolidation of financial statements and operations results analyses. Paul Matik also used his business and financial acumen to streamline company procedures, operations, systems, and policies. In addition to those responsibilities he managed 13 employees which were his part of the team at that company.

Mr. Paul Matik acquired his business and accounting skills while attending the University of Illinois at Chicago (formerly known as the Chicago Circle Campus of the University of Illinois), where he learned the ins and outs of accounting and earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Due to his academic accomplishments, Mr. Paul Matik was a member of two well-respected fraternities, whose membership is based on high schloastic achievement. In addition, Paul Matik received the honor of being named an Edmund James Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Paul Matik has lived and worked in the Chicago area for a number of years and enjoys watching soccer (the Chicago Fire), football (the Chicago Bears) and hockey (the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Wolves) and reading, particularly his favorite book, “A Brief History of Time,” written by famed physicist and writer Stephen Hawking.
